Join us for a half-day workshop designed for research postgrads, motivated undergrads, and junior faculty interested in socio-economic research. This session offers an accessible yet comprehensive introduction to two of the world’s leading comparative datasets: the Luxembourg Income Study (LIS) and the Luxembourg Wealth Study (LWS).
Led by the distinguished directors and operational lead of the LIS, this training will provide a clear overview of the databases’ structure, content, and research applications. Through guided instruction and a live demonstration, participants will gain practical skills in accessing, analysing, and interpreting international income and wealth data. The hands-on format is designed to strengthen your research capabilities, support ongoing projects, and deepen your understanding of cross-national socio-economic trends.
We encourage all with an interest in socio-economic analysis to attend and acquire the tools needed to advance their research.
Important note: Participants must bring their own laptop to the training
